New Music Tuesday: Stars Go Dim
Stars Go Dim is a new pop / rock band from Tulsa Oklahoma comprised of Chris Cleveland on Vocals, Piano, and Guitar, Joey Avalos (formerly of Sky Harbor) on guitar and the rhythm section of Michael Wittig on bass and Lester Estelle on drums. Michael (Kalel) and Lester are currently in the super successful band Pillar.This band has a fresh and unique sound, from the grooving smooth jazz influenced drumming to the funky bass and solid, steady grooving guitars combined with Cleveland’s soulful vocals, this is a band that has set itself apart from the typical pop rock bands.The song Get Over It is a finalist in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Rock category.
